Zu einer geselligen Runde trafen sich auf Einladung von Hermann und seiner Tochter Christiane neben weiteren Gratulanten auch Vertreter der Berg- und Universitätsstadt, der Schützengesellschaften Buntenbock, Zellerfeld und unserem Präsidium mit Uwe Mölter, Michael Peinemann, Rolf Köhler und mir in seinem Haus und überbrachten unserem Ehrenpräsidenten die besten Glückwünsche. Natürlich durfte ein Glas Sekt nicht fehlen, dazu wurden Brot mit einem leckeren selbst kreierten Lachstatar gereicht.
Hermann Hemschemeier zählt zu den langjährigsten Mitgliedern, die wir in unserem Verband haben.
Vor fast 67 Jahren ist er am 1.1.1958 in unseren Landesverband eingetreten und gehörte der Schützenbrüderschaft Wildemann an. Daneben trat er am 1.1.2001 in die Schützengesellschaft Buntenbock ein, der er bis heute noch angehört.
Die Schützenbrüderschaft Wildemann, in der er eine Zeit lang das Amts des Schützenvogtes innehatte, wurde zwischenzeitlich aufgelöst.
Auch in unserem Kreisverband machte er Karriere. Im Jahre 1984 trat er das Amt des stellvertr. Präsidenten an, 1987 wurde er zum Präsidenten gewählt. Dieses Amt bekleidete er bis zur Delegiertenversammlung im Jahre 1999, insgesamt also 12 Jahre. Danach wurde er zum Ehrenpräsidenten ernannt.
Erfreulicherweise nimmt er weiterhin an unseren Schützenfesten teil, sofern es ihm möglich ist. Wir wünschen ihm auf diesem Wege nochmals alles Gute.
