Ganz im Zeichen von Königen und Würdenträgern stand der Schützenfestsamstag bei den Zellerfelder Schützen. Am Nachmittag fanden sich aus dem Kreisverband des Oberharzer Schützenbundes Schützen ein, um in verschiedenen Altersklassen die Bundeskönige im OHS zu ermitteln. 7 Bundeskönigstitel und den Pokal des Präsidenten konnte der Präsident des Oberharzer Schützenbundes Hartmut Wawrzinek vergeben.
Das Bundesschießen des Oberharzer Schützenbund hat eine lange Tradition hat und in den früheren Jahrzehnten viel bedeutender war als in der heutigen Zeit. Der Oberharzer Schützenbund trägt in zweijährigem Rhythmus „sein Bundesschießen“ aus. Leider ist die Resonanz der Oberharzer Schützengesellschaften nicht oder gar nicht vorhanden, was zu dem Schluss kommt, dass solche Tradition Veranstaltungen nicht mehr gewünscht sind. Schade nur um die Arbeit des Offiziums des OHS, wenn diese nicht gewürdigt wird. Die 42 Teilnehmer/innen hatten ihren Spaß und zollten dem Kreisschießsportleiter Michael Schindler den nötigen Respekt den er verdient hat.
