An zwei Wochenenden im März führte der Oberharzer Schützenbund (OHS) eine weitere Ausbildungsveranstaltung für angehende Schießsportleiter durch. Die 11 Teilnehmer trafen sich in Clausthal-Zellerfeld. Geleitet wurde die Veranstaltung von den beiden erfahrenen Ausbildern Michael Peinemann und Rainer Otte. Neu und damit seine Feuertaufe im Ausbildungsstab bestand Rudolf Morbitzer, Die drei führten souverän durch die Ausbildung, praktisch sowie auch theoretisch. Gastgeber war die Schützengesellschaft Zellerfeld, die ihre Räume für die Veranstaltung zur Verfügung stellte.
Die Ausbildung zum Schießsportleiter vermittelt die relevanten Kenntnisse in den Bereichen Waffenrecht, Sicherheit im Schießsport, Schießtechnik und -training und Wettkampforganisation. Ein besonderes Augenmerk liegt dabei auf der Rolle und Verantwortung eines Schießsportleiters, der während Schießsportveranstaltungen die Aufsicht und Organisation übernimmt. Entsprechend werden den Teilnehmern in der Ausbildung auch die rechtlichen Vorgaben im Schießsport vermittelt. Ein weiterer Schwerpunkt ist die Inklusion. Welche Hilfsmittel gibt es für Personen mit Handikap. (Schießen am Federbock oder das Blindenschießen mit der VIASS-Anlage)
Die Abnahme der Prüfung erfolgte durch den Landessportleiter des NSSV, Herrn Reinhard Zimmer. Alle Teilnehmer schlossen die Ausbildung zum Schießsportleiter erfolgreich ab. Mit dem erworbenen Wissen und der Handlungskompetenz werden sie zukünftig in ihren Schützenvereinen und bei Meisterschaften tätig zu sein.
Der Oberharzer Schützenbund sowie die SG Zellerfeld freuen sich über die erfolgreiche Veranstaltung und wünschen den neuen Schießsportleitern viel Erfolg und Freude bei ihrer zukünftigen Tätigkeit.
